brenna' s blog book review! (& a late musical monday)

so this is a typ. philippa gregory. liked it-didn't love it (the white queen was better) but it was still a great easy, indulgent read. made me want to cozy up and have a tudors marathon. which reminds me-i haven't found a suitable tudors replacement yet. i think i'll try out the borgias maybs? right now i'm all about downton abbey, it is the greatest ever. also, i watched the new jane eyre this weekend. LOVED. i even showed james my jane eyre hair (low bun with hair pulled over the ears) which of course he was very impressed by. okay, this review has taken a strange turn, time for musical monday:

Well, my dear, I can't help but notice the you've moved on to reading "The Glass Castle". Okay, so pre-reading review: you are going to LOOOVE this book. Really. And, I am just posing the thought that you also should read the other book by Jeannette Walls called "Half Broke Horses", about her maternal grandmother. It's not as great, but it's still pretty fantastic.
