welcome to thankful thursday

here are some things i am grateful for this week:

1. ice water with a lemon slice

2. the new season of project runway

3. skype

4. a husband who will kill spiders who threaten my physical and emotional well-being

5. summer storms

6. the sales-girl at sephora who told me i looked like zooey deschanel 

7. laughter with friends

8. the $1 record sale at randy's records that allowed this to happen:

yes, i found the funny girl record...for one dollar

it was sitting there in the stacks and stacks of vinyls, just waiting for me

i may have cried a little.

it was that miraculous.
