there are are few things i really enjoy about living provo, ut.
like:
cougar tails
big hair
the real possibility of seeing robert while at sundance (redford. duh.)
mountains
college students singing loudly on their way to class
the list goes on.
but, by far my favorite part of living here is autumn:
i'm a little sad to see fall go this year.
the forecast says snow this weekend, which means winter is really happening. again.
how is that possible?
oh well, i guess it's time for little women & hot coco to mark the occasion.
on another note:
i have been making a conscious effort to not let teaching take over my life
and let me tell ya---it is not easy
but, a few things have helped:
1. one word: pinterest
uh-mazing. check out my boards.
2. have you seen this???
it is my new amc fav while i wait for mad men to return.
we were obsessed for a couple days there; zombie references left and right.
3. and this:
thanks to this list, i'm doing a lot better at leaving school at school.
cause it's hard to worry about the 200 teenagers you spend all day with
when you are pinning recipes, while drinking calm tea, and planning your escape route if there is a zombie apocalypse.
that's right. there's nothing like zombies to relax you at the end of a long day.
p.s. happy musical monday!
mr. von trapp is dreamy.
Dear Mrs. Perry,
ReplyDeleteI just spent the better part of a month watching Mad Med seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Like, pretty much non-stop (everyone I know got SUPER annoyed by my constant chatter about the show). When the new season comes back in March, I am setting aside an hour after the show is over to Skype you and analyze every single detail ever and then hopelessly guess as to what the future holds for Mr. Draper and his soon to be new French wife. Mmkay?
OK!
I loves you MUCHO.

Ummm... I also just re-read your list of likes. Do college kids really sing loudly on the way to class? And what exactly do they sing??
ReplyDeleteUtah is cray cray.
(And I miss you).
