it finally happened. i finished the book.

during my traveling this weekend i finally had some down time to devote to extremely loud and incredibly close and it did not disappoint:

this has been my favorite book so far this year. the writing is fantastic, it is a breath of fresh air, bravo, i can't say enough good stuff. humor, heart, and a quirky little boy=lethal combination. all and all i highly recommend this one, so you better go out and get it.

also, they are adapting the book to film. starring mr. tom hanks.
