well you guys, didn't like this one so much. i read it with the bookclub, which was nice because i had people to voice my concerns with. and this book was concerning. people are dying horrific deaths for 300 pages and then author went and made a love story out of it. no bueno. and while i did like the bits about witch-hunt hysteria, i did not appreciate the turns the story took. in the end, it felt like the author had an agenda: she tried to fit a modern storyline into 17th century reality. and i did not like it. nope.
